As a stager for 12+ years and now as a realtor for 3+ years, I have prepared MANY homes for market.  My signature look is very clean, streamlined, sharp – it is all in the details.

The answer today is WHITE, WHITE, and more WHITE.  Throw in some cream and light beige but LIGHT makes everything seem more current and updated.

I always have fresh flowers at my listings and, again, they are always WHITE.  Hydrangeas are my favorite because they are beautiful, elegant, and say “upscale.”  However, they can wilt easily and it’s expensive to constantly buy new ones.

Here is a secret tip:

If your Hydrangeas wilt, take them out of their vase, cut the bottoms and then stick them in boiling hot water.  Let them sit for several hours and replace the hot water as often as you can.  The next day, they will be good as new!  Try it!  I do it ALL the time when my have wilted and they bounce back overnight.
